Perfect - it told me everything I needed to know - and it was accurate.

I found some very old VHS tapes when my best friend passed away and I was looking for a reasonably priced VHS player to see what was on those tapes. I didn't expect to find a play that viewed both VHS and DVD in the same unit. I purchased it, it was sent very quickly and was packaged extremely well. I love this player and it works great! I have had a handy-man doing some work at my home, so it took me longer to get it set up and used than it would normally have been. I would HIGHLY recommend this seller, it was just what I was looking for.

DVD does not work

Item arrived on time but the DVD portion does not work. After trying several DVDs I tried one that was just purchased and it did not work. Screen shows that it is loading the disk but then displays the "This disk is not viewable". The only reason that I am not sending it back is that I have another one that this was suppose to replace but the VHS Tape portion does not work and I will attempt to swap out the DVD portion of this unit for the one in the other unit I have.Read full review...

Does not work properly.

It does not work. I turned it on and put the tape in. It looked like the tape was going to play on the TV and then the VCR shut itself off. This happened every time we tried it.
