A good introduction source for many mediums
This book is a good overall source for what it takes to create projects in different media. Each section goes over basic materials/techniques from felt to
clay to metal to glass. I enjoyed reading about each different materials but mostly from a standpoint in reality. It would be wonderful to work in metal or glass- but you must be aware of the commitment to having the right tools/workshop to produce some of these projects. I originally purchased this
for the polymer clay section for my current projects. I found many techniques
addressed were pretty clear and easy to follow. I thought some of the faux
projects were very nicely done.
This book is very good for the person who would like to learn more about *many*
types of base mediums out there for creating beads. It also showed a good
collection of artists workstations and tools needed for the more advanced/
complicated media projects.Read full review...
Excellent inspiration
This book is fantastic if looking for inspiration in finding a new skill/craft in jewelry making. There is something for everyone to start metalworking, felting, clay and more, without being overwhelming. Well worth the money.Read full review...

Perfect title for this book.
Multiple beadmakers show off their talents and do a very good job of it. Very informative with detailed instructions and ideas. I recommend this book for beadmakers, new and experienced.
