Big Difference

I stupidly purchased the basic fixed router. However the addition of the plunge base base turns a very good router into an excellent router. Far easier to control with plunger and easy to fit. The only negative point being the adjusting screw being very stiff to turn. I think that this is due to the paint or Lacquer on the thread. Hopefully this will loosen off but in a while. Great addition

Should have bought one of these when I bought the router. Much easier to use than the trim base.

Cheap but not in a good way.

It is an imitation and not very well made, but it does work for what I want. I had to put some shim round the router body as it was too loose.
