Very fast charger

Very fast charger. Works well but just be aware these ultra fast chargers do lessen the batteries life significantly more than slower chargers. Otherwise good unit for the price. Recommend

Great if you have multiple tools or operators

If you work alone and have a single rapid charger then this is probably overkill as the single rapid charges so quick 4ah in under 30 minutes 1 person is not going to require this really. where it would be great is where you have multiple operators such as job sites etc. It charges two batteries at the same rate as single rapid charger does one which is great. Only comes in rapid form DC18RD no standard option made.
Actual unit is solid , great makita quality and mine has been going strong two years and not missed a beat. Offers full battery protection etc. same as single DC18RCRead full review...
