Makita 194935-6 Guide Side Fence for Plunge Router RP1800 - Black/Silver

This is good value for money however a points to consider .

Although not listed in the routers this will fit , this fence will fit the plunge Base for the Makita RTO700C trimmer router .BUT you will have to use 8mm guide bars which it does not come with for some reason. It's comes supplied with 12 mm bars which fit in the outer sets of holes in the fence . The 8mm fit in the inner holes . I already have a set of 8mm bars from one of my other routers . I'm a joiner so have several . The cheapest way, if you need a set is to buy a length of bright steel round bar . About eight quid for a metre length . DO NOT buy bars from a router manufacturer as they charge stupid prices .
Overall a great buy but would be better if it came with both the 8mm and the 12 mm bars .
For reference the makita fence that is listed for this plunge Base comes in at over a hundred quid which is ridiculous . And although comes with 8mm bars will not fit without an adapter which limits the fences travel . So this cheaper one is much better despite having to find the 8mm bars. . Quality fence with adequate micro adjustment

I bought this to replace the supplied fence on a 1500w MacAllister router. It comes with one set of 10mm rods but I was able to use my existing 8mm rods and the inner mounting points. Makita router Straight Edge Side Fence

excellent quality come with 10mm rods. wanted this item for a Makita 0700 the 1/4 inch Router if you buy the 8mm rods
it works fine. Thinking about buying another one only this time I have to buy the 8mm rods from another supplier. I think it should come with both 8mm and 10mm rods then you have the choice which Router to use it with.Read full review

Useful fence.

Happy with this, it fits Bosch, Elu and Makita, and probably more. I had to buy 8mm rods for it but that’s a minor issue. Accurate to about 1mm. No arc-cutting function.

Precision adjustable fence

Perfect for precisely adjusting the fence distance from the cutter. Comes with large diameter rods for full size routers. Also has narrower notches to hold rods to fit the 1/4 inch routers but does not come with the rods for that.Read full review
