Great Detective series in the fashion of the old gritty pulp novel's that is smart witty sexy action packed way ahead of it's time for a 60's show,

Mike Conners just totally becomes Private Detective Joe Mannix, he has a real swagger and charisma when he walks into a room or when he is in a fight a lot like Sean Connery, Even though in this First Season he works for a intelligence firm "Intertec" he is basically a lone wolf playing by his own rules which leads to plenty of clashes with his Boss, but both know he always gets the job done, this show use to get into a bit of trouble because of it's then use of violence (which is tame by today's standards) but it never gets in the way of the great storylines, This show is created by the same people that did Mission Impossible & Star Trek, so you know it's going to be great quality.Read full review...
