Exhaustive Search for features and price

Am embarrassed to admit I spent untold time to find a replacement for my Radio Shack meter that was about 40 years old. I wanted a full featured meter which had about the specs of the best meters available and which was fully reviewed and passed all of the basic considerations. I am not an engineer and am not scared by a 1% inaccuracy if present. This meter exceeds my requirements and is complete with a full set of features. Meters can be $200-700 for professional models but this meter has essentially the same specifications. The cost was about 25.00 and had free shipping. If I found the leads to be inadequate I would consider buying a set of Probemaster leads for about 16.00 or perhaps a high quality ceramic branded named fuse for about 7.00 although this does not appear desirable/necessary. As of now I would very highly recommend purchase of this model. This meter appears adequate for simple and complex tasks and I will be using it for low voltage tasks.Read full review
