Good unit, boils water quick but uses a staggering 58amps @12volt unit is rated at 2000watts
Item arrived quickly and as I live OFF GRID I can provide some details. The 8l unit uses 58amps @12volt. It switches off and every half hour or so turns on for a couple of minutes using a constant 58amps @12volf for the time it is heating. It is a lot of amps for a 12volt system but it is in short bursts and the water boils quickly.
Possibly not recommended for off grid uses as it draws a lot of amps, however if you use it only during sunlight hours, you could get away with it if you have a large system. And by that I mean a large battery bank. Read full review...
