Great natural looking & moisturizing lipstick

Let me just preface by saying that I gave this lipstick to one of my friends who claims she does wear any makeup, and she loves it. She appreciates how moisturizing it is, containing both jojoba and shea butters, and how natural it looks. The colors are really subtle and not overpowering. So far I've tried Ruby, Raisin, Plum Wine, Mauve, Terracotta, Sienna, and Copper. I used to wear much brighter lipstick but having tried this, I've come to the conclusion that these shades are very complimentary to my fair skin. They may be a little light for darker complexion, though; I'll have to see. All tints (without exception) have some beige undertones. I like all of the colors, but I like Ruby, Raisin, and Copper best. The first is the nice reddish beige, the second one is deep purplish beige, and the third one is a nice muted copper color (rich beige with slight orange undertones). All tints are close to semi-sheer in appearance, weightless, and don't have any smell. Drawbacks are staying power (you have to reapply those frequently) and a lackluster case (for those who even care). This lipstick goes on so smooth and I like it better than any other I have ever used (and I am 76 years old). I highly recommend it and the price is very reasonable for this quality lipstick.

Awesome product! Great value for the money!

I purchased Maybelline Mineral Power lipstick, ("#650 Copper"), based on other reviews I had read; and, because I lean more heavily toward mineral-based products on my face and sensitive skin, anyway.

I am fair-skinned, have medium brown hair with reddish highlights ...with grays now starting to sneak in(!), so I tend to wear more neutral-toned lipsticks, such as copper, bronze, ... but, dislike them if they are too "orange-y" or dark for me. Not only is this a lovely color, but, as other reviewers stated, it's also very moisturizing and smooth. It provides a flattering level of color that is neither too dark nor too light.

It is reasonably long-lasting like many lipsticks; but, the longer-wearing lipsticks are very drying on my lips - personally, I prefer to occasionally reapply decent, but affordable, lipstick as needed, than put up with dry-feeling, chapped lips.

Every bit as good as, or better than, more expensive brands! Overall, I am VERY pleased with this purchase! :0)Read full review...

nude shell lip color

I just got my nude shell lip color and I LOVE IT!! It blends well and look's natural.
