unbelievable Robotic toy

My 9 year old son really wanted this as his #1 gift for Christmas, so we gave it to him lastly after all his other gifts. He was elated and much to our surprise he put it together mostly by himself. It really has motivated him to learn how mechanical and programmable gadgets work. He calls it his new best friend, and it really is. This is the neatest thing I could have bought him. My son loves this robot! He and his dad had a great time assembling it together! It took the 2 of them 4 hours. The only negative thing is that the batteries drained in one day when he first got it. With the reduction in the price of KS model, it would have been better to get it. I know have to shell out $30 for batteries and charger. But the product itself is awesome. We all love it!
