Medabots: Infinity (Gamecube) ONLY

This game is great. Graphics, plot, music, it rocks. I have been a very dedicated Medabots fan ever since the year 2000. This game though, has a very nice set-up aside from the horrible voice acting. Its vulgar. Ikki(the main character, a nine-year-old boy who has a very hot-tempered Medabot), sounds like a seven-year-old girl(although a girl does his voice in the TV show but at least there he sounds like a young boy). Metabee(Sakaichi in Japanese) is Ikki's Medabot. I think he's stupid. Strong, but stupid. The guy who does his voice is just a tard who is trying to sound cool. The Screws(the school "bullies") sound dumb aside from Samantha. She sounds like the one in the TV show to some extent. The other two, Spyke and Sloan, sound dumb. But what hurt me the most in the voice acting department was Blak-Beetle's voice. I cried when I heard her voice. She is my favorite Medabot of all time(actually, she is a Kilobot, which are illegal Medabots). This game follows a story line in which Arika(Erika in the English series but I like the Japanese "Arika" better) wins two free passes to a popular theme park called Toru-Toru Land. Arika invites Ikki to come with her to this place where a Medabot "race" is to take place. This race involves you to take your Medabot through a series of attractions(level, stage things) to win Medaparts and get the highest score of everyone their. But of course their is some bad guys who get in the way. Their called the RubberRobos. Their dumb. They have four leaders, Squidguts, Gillgirl, Shrimplips and Seaslug. They are there just to be an annoyance. But there is a mastermind controlling them to pressure kids into battling them so this mastermind can get information to create the "ultimate Medabot" which after some time, from all the info she gets, she created that ultimate Medabot(literally the ultimate Medabot), Blak-Beetle. So, you fight this bad guy(she's a girl actually)named Dr.Haru. You beat her and Blak-Beetle is actually her former Medabot as a child named Caroline. So, thats the main storyline. You can also hook up a Gameboy/Gamecube Cable and a copy of Medabots: Metabee or Rokusho version to this game to unlock Mega-Emperor for Rokusho, and ArcBeetle for Metabee version. So, this game I give everything a 5 out of 5, EXCEPT for the voice acting. That, I give nothing. It royally stinks. And, everyone says this game is extremely hard. It isn't. You just need to have some patience. So, I recommend you get this game if you can find it. Overall, I give it a 4 out of 5. Have fun.Read full review...

Very nice game to play on the GameCube

Medabots is a good game! It's a game where you start off with Medabee and then you do several things to get other Medabots. It's 2-players and if you have the GBA RPG version of the game you can unlock additional Medabots to use ingame for 2-players. But you need a GBA GC link cable to do that. And it works on the Wii that is backwards with GC or just the GC.Read full review...

Not a bad game

I always liked Medabots and I really wanted one of those voice command Metabee's which I recently bought from ebay but aside from that, when you watch an anime, you want to "be there" and fit in. This game is the closest you'll get to the anime. It tops off the Game Boy Advance games and nothing comes close to how confusing the game could get. It is tricky and even at my age I can't figure some things out. I'll eventually get back to playing it but until then, I'm just glad I have it to my GameCube collection.Read full review...

Medabots - Infinity for Game Cube

I bought this for my son who ABSOLUTELY LOVES it! Given the games that he plays, I relied on his expertise and he said that the game is fantastic! The game was priced well. He could use it the minute he got it and STILL uses it over two months later. I recommend buying this product if your son or daughter is a gamer!Read full review...

Medabots: Infinity

Definitely a must have for Medabots fans although the controls are a bit annoying. But I'd recommend you get the GBA games Metabee Gold or Rokusho Silver first.
