A Good Product

Pro: works as I had hoped. The software has been free of problems so far. Installation was easy and operating instructions readily available. The cable is no problem for me, but I can see why the next evolution would be wireless connectivity. I use the device so far for X-Plane and Google Earth VR. Both work well.
Con: I read that slight fuzziness cannot be removed, and I do perceive the imagery as less than than sharp, but it is not unacceptably out of focus. BTW, being without vision in both eyes does not take one out of the user base, for I enjoy it with my one good eye. My son commented that he wished the field of view were wider (it's somewhat like looking through binoculars), and he does have a point, but it doesn't destroy the enjoyment I am having with VR.

cannot get to work not sellers' fault at all 600.00$ waste.

Does not work. No proper help, and no comprehensive owner's book. My toaster cane with a 20 page one! I have re-installed the software several times still fails to work, and the maker has the worst help that I have ever encountered. Perhaps if you are a PC Wizard you can make it work. I much as I cannot afford, I am getting something from steam they have good help!Read full review...

Great Features. Amazing Tracking. Good for the budget.

This is definitely a headset that you can enjoy right out of the box if you are an up and coming VR user. The tracking and movements are incredibly smooth though do keep in mind that you need a good setup to run top of the line VR games. This does not necessarily mean expensive. The only thing that I myself could find as a bit of a con to the Oculus lineup is that they do not natively support full body tracking. If that is something you absolutely need then I would have to suggest the Vive to fit that bill. If you however simply want to jump right into the world of VR without too many of the extras then this is absolutely perfect for those that want to try or get into VR without breaking the bank. pretty solid vr experience for the money

This is a very interesting piece of tech. It really feels like you are in a video game world. Compared to something like the PSVR the screen door effect is much less noticeable, but you do see it when looking into the distance. This almost adds to the immersion because it feels like you are in a 1999 arcade racing game (I use this with Project Cars 2 and a sim racing wheel and it is awesome... once you get it working). Setup can be somewhat challenging (you have to reset the position sometimes for games) but yeah once you are in you are good to go.This headset is perfect for someone with a midrange computer. My setup was an i5 9600k and a 2060. I am currently upgrading so one day I can get the Index as well but I will be putting many hours into this while that is on backorder for the forseeable future. The motion sickness is definitely an issue for me while moving in games, but when my friends have used it they did not report any sickness at all so maybe I get it worse than normal. The weak point of the headset is definitely the foam that contacts your face but it should be an easy fix with a 3rd party face shield. Read full review...

Awesome, but has serious software

The headset is awesome, game selection is great and is def worth your money. However there are technical problems with it, there are also issues with the sub and compatability and if youre not tech savvy you'll likely have serious issues. Make sure you have a USB type C and buy a sub to type C adapter of some sort to fix the oculus software issues. Read full review...

Good as new; Works like a charm

The Rift works great, no problem or flaws, and it seems to be brand new. Would definitely reccomend anyone to get this. It truly is a once in a life time experience. I reccomend to also buy lens protectors if you wear glasses.Read full review...

Best entry level VR you can get.

The oculus rift s is one of the best entry level VR headsets out there. While is does a fantastic job for the price, it does fall short in a couple areas. First and foremost is the screen door effect. At some points it is not noticeable, but when reading text, or looking and objects that are further away, it's very prominent. Other than that is works wonderfully. It's magical in a ton of ways. You don't need a 80 inch tv when you have movie theater to watch your shows in. Read full review...

Works perfectly

Arrived on-time, and works as expected. The remote for the headset wasn't in the box, but it's not required, nor was it specified in the listing, so I'm not sure what I expected there. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with what I purchased. The only major problems were the fact that it requires a Facebook account and some performance issues + Steam VR crashing at one point, but the former's just Oculus's new business tactic and the latter's a matter of me not having a good enough graphics card. The Xbox controller wasn't included either, but I already have one I can use.Read full review...

Oculus Rift S is Incredible

The Oculus Rift S provided me with an incredible VR experience. I have an Nvidia GTX 970 graphics card which is the minimal card, but it works great. We tried some of the games on the Oculus site like Vader Immortal 1, 2 and 3. Minecraft and also played a few Roblox VR games. It is a memorable experience.Read full review...

Too much freakin' fun!!! :)

It's one thing to watch someone play on a 2D screen, it's another to put that headset on. OMG! What an amazing and emersive experience. Everyone in the family has a blast with this thing. Even our 4 year old! We put a thick scrunchy headband on him so it fits well and he just goes to town. So fun.. I want to download every single game just to see and experience whatever it is. BeatSaber is flat out freakin' awesome and brings new life into songs you've grown tired of (youtube how to download custom playlist for free, it takes a bit of work, but worth it). SuperHot makes you feel like Neo. Moss is just too cute and fun for words. Get one of these, it's an investment not an expense :)Read full review...

Oculus rift s

A totally immersive experience. Reminds me of the movie “The Matrix”
Beautiful graphics, it’s the closest you can come to actually being there. BUT... it’s heavy and you get warm real quick. And it’s like viewing the world with heavy scuba glasses. Just imagine flying a jet fighter, or climbing Mt. Everest or riding a roller coaster with heavy scuba goggles on, that’s it. In a few years it will prolly be the size of sunglasses...Read full review...
