Delightful book (with one issue for some readers)

This book provides an entertaining trip into Christmases of the past, especially for those who grew up during the midcentury years. However, the use of a fine font and on some pages, not much contrast between text and background, can make it difficult to read for many in that age group. There are enough great photos for this to stand alone as a picture-book, but the text adds so much fun and interesting background information. If it were more visually-friendly, I would give this book a solid 5 stars. If you don't mind the font issue and you like shiny glass ornaments, aluminum trees, and midcentury toys, you will love this book!Read full review...
