Rare gem from Mike Oldfield.

The Songs of Distant Earth is one of best Mike Oldfield's albums. It was created in the year 1994 at a time when CD's dominated in musical industry, so it's extremely difficult to find the vinyl copy. I'm lucky to have this one. I got it just after it was released in vinyl.
The music in this album sounds fantastic, music is wrapping you around. There are sounds of whales, astronauts discussions and popular tribal vocals. It enriches the original musicand makes it exotic. I prefere to listen it in the dark room with cellphone unconnected.
I suppose this album is a gem for Mike Oldfield fans and it will find the worthy place in their collections.Read full review...
