Robust cable adapter; imperfect fit

This cable adapter is a good value for a non-apple product. It required a little fiddling to get it to work, but this was more likely due to the hdmi cable I was using with the monitor. It does not fit flush with my macbook when plugged in, but does `click' securely into place. It's a good option for using an hdmi montor or tv connection on an older mac computer with the mini DVI connector.Read full review...

Works great with xserve

I used this adapter to get video out of my 2008 xserve. The adapter works fine although one of the times I unplugged the hdmi, the plastic holding it in came off. The adapter still works but the hdmi port on the adapter is freely moving around and it's harder to plug into.Read full review...
