Pros, cons and ideas for a second generation one.
Pros: * Awesome someone made this. Like many people I have great memories of Zoltar.
* Has sound and lights
Cons: * Zoltar is printed on 2D card not 3D
* The front "glass" is just very thin, flimsy, plastic (a bit like an overhead projector sheet).
* Fortune cards don't fit in.
* Due to the small size it is hard to see all the details.
* Because it is 2D there are no side windows.
Ideas for a next generation:
* Maybe make it as a money box that is activates Zoltar when you add coins.
* Make Zoltar 3d.
* Could put Zoltar on a small motor so he moves.
* Use harder perspex for the front "glass"
* It would be better if it was a bit bigger to see all the details. Perhaps 1.5 X the size
