Not as good as hoped

The CD works well, but when the cellophane cover came of the crystal case was scratched and hinge broken.

The postage was also very expensive.

Easy Rider CD

The digital version of the original long-player album. A charismatic eclectic mix of music that evokes memories of a long departed era, from my youth. Thus coloured by rose-tinted glasses, I again re-live the joy of "get your motor running, head out on the highway, looking for adventure in whatever comes our way" played at full-blast thru open windows from my motor as I set out for the day. Now I enjoy the digital crispness and freedom from scratch/crackles of the old LP. and yet this is the "Screen-soundtrack" version with the soundbites lifted from the film, that I had to pay extra for on LP!
Not to everybodys taste but to the snow-topped Hells-Angels who understand the allusion...I'm going to the Mardi Grass...see you there bro.Read full review...

EASY RIDER SOUNDTRACK

I remember watching the film way back when released and was blown out by the laid back backing tracks.
Promptly bought the tape and played it contiually in my car. Lent it out and never got it back.
Just bought the CD again and still love it. It sort of embraces that particular era in my life. Tracks by bands like Steppenwolf are very good and will bring scenes of the film to mind.
