What can a person really say about a 555 IC. This chip is pretty much the backbone of many counter systems. This chip worked just like all 555 chips do, they simply do what they were designed to do. The ones I ordered came in a lot of 10. I only need one but these chips are so easy to use and so common in projects having 9 in reserve is a good thing indeed. Right now is the time to stock up, with China having it's military on alert and our idiot in chief ignoring the problem and playing golf, things with China may well change any day and the pipeline of goods from China may dry up and the price of these chips may indeed go from pennies per chip to dollars per chip.Read full review

Good for reverse polarity.
Not the easiest to use, but I'm new (old-new) to electronics. After much struggling and looking at wrong info on the net, I finally figured out how to wire it. It is now working in astable mode!

Seems to me to be good quality chips
The only gripe i had was the way it was packaged , the pins on the items got bent And I feel it needs better padding or more bubble wrap around them to protect them better
