Lightweight with great features!
Been waiting for this item to be produced every since the movie came out. Love the detail. Very lightweight for it's size. I have been reading other reviews on this product. People complaining of how fragile this product is. It is lightweight, so I imagine the packing procedure may have something to do with it. It comes folded in the packaging to allow it to fit in the perfect square box. Be careful removing it from the box. I removed it from the box to inspect it. Looks perfect. I did not unfold it, because I am moving. So far, so good. Nothing fell off of it. Nothing broken. Arrived in perfect condition.Read full review...

Awesome with Outstanding Detail!
I never would have expected this kind of detail in a product such as this...From the authentic bolt and rivet patterns to the electrical wiring to what would be the servos that would control the arms this piece is well worth it's price...The sound and voice are also so detailed authentic that one would believe he is listening to the movie itself.. ED-209 Enforcement Droid
Model is very detailed and most joints are articulated so it can strike several poses. It's an "Action Figure". It's not sturdy enough to be a toy but that is obvious from the price. It's prerecorded voices are dialog from the movie and are difficult to understand (other than the gun fire). A beautiful, but fragile figure!
Being that it is a NECA a figure know that it is not built for constant play, but for carefully posing then displaying on a shelf. That said this figure looks absolutely wonderful standing next to my NECA Robocop figure. ED-209 is wonderfully sculpted with lots of detail from the movie and even comes with a voice box booming some of his dialogue from the movie. Neca’s ED-209 Toy Review
This is a must have for any Robocop fan or collector. With attention to detail and to scale to go against it’s 6” figures, including Robocop. Several points of articulation and height adjustment. For a figure that ranges for $60 directly from the NECA store warehouse, it is by far the most bang for your buck, literally. It also utilizes recorded sound effects and movie phrases/dialogue you cannot resist listening to over and over again. Now one could argue the more massive and far superior paint job of Sideshow Collectibles ED-209 May have more appeal as eye candy, and you may be right. However, once again, for affordability and not breaking the bank you get more bang for your buck with the quality of plastic, it’s mold and sculpt, the details like decals and paint job, awesome articulation., and to scale/size against other NECA (and even McFarlane’s Movie Maniacs Robocop and Terminator fugues) you can recreate battle scenes, or display ok your shelf with pleasure and not be disappointed. You may need to shop around a bit however if you aren’t buying from NECA directly beside it can be pricey from individual vendors. And buying from NECA directly means also spending about $20 in shipping (which is my biggest peeve and complaint). I contacted them via message to see if I can pick it up at their warehouse in Gardena, CA because I know the area and used to be a former resident there but they don’t offer such service. I Really Like This ED-209
This is one of the best sculpts of a Robocop characters.
It is articulated, the legs extend, the arms rotate and move. The torso rotates and tilts.
There are many touches that makes this so good. Warning labels, screws, wiring, gears and springs. Most of it is slightly weathered.
And then there is a collection of sound effects operated at the press of a button.
It's also scaled for the Mafex Robo figure.

This is an absolute must have for any and every Robocop fan. I love everything about it. Perfect details. Quality materials. This is straight up an exact model of the real ED-209. Ive never spent this much on a figure before but it was 125% worth it. I put a display box around mine and I'll just randomly stop and stare at it for 15 minutes just mesmerized by every little detail. Honestly, I'm a little obsessed with it lol. ED-209 30th Anniversary NECA figure review.
Tbh, I was somewhat apprehensive about buying this figure as I had heard some varying stories of issues. I’m happy to report that while I can’t speak on the original issue of this figure, this 30th Anniversary version came right out of the box perfectly without issue. NECA ED209 is awesome.
I remember the kenner ed209 from ‘88 as a youngster and wanted it so bad. Never got it but now as an adult my son expressed interest so i bought this one. Its the toy i always wanted, great detail and fun to share the experience with my boy. Definitely recommend.Read full review...
