Better than a standard N dual band
I changed from a Netgear N600 to this unit due to needing more bandwidth. We have a TON of stuff that is both hardwired and using wireless connection, and this seems to be holding up to it all quite well. The only complaint that I have with it, is I expected to get better range out of an AC unit, especially on the 2.4 channel, but it doesn't seem like I can be more than 30 feet away from my modem. I will end up getting a range extender at some point.Read full review

This modem router combination works really well with my Comcast Xfinity account. Because it was used when I bought it, I didn’t have a lot of the paperwork so getting my Internet account to recognize it was difficult. I had to take it to their office and have it registered there. Your actual network speed is limited to your isp. One thing I will say is this device is no joke. The 5ghz connection is full speed. The 2.4ghz connection isn't bad. 5 stars.
