A good way to use mobile internet on a wired network
This is a good device if you use an AirCard for internet access but still use an Ethernet network to connect your PCs and printers.
It recognised and allowed my wireless network extender to connect as well. Last time I tried to do that (with a different device) it was a lengthy process and if I hadn't the network skills would not have worked, everything needed to be connected manually. Not this device, instant connection!
I like the LEDs on the front, it makes diagnostics much easier if you can see which ports and wireless protocols are active.
The ability to plug into a high gain antenna is nice, it helps with speed and stability of the internet connection.Read full review...

Slightly better but not good enough
Does boost the wifi 2.5 Gigahertz but not much of the faster 5 gigahertz frequency. Does not boost the 4G reception on its own, external mimo antennas required for that. My unit also came with a loose part rattling inside, out of the box. Should have bought the Optus plug in 4G wifi modem which is slightly cheaper.
One other thing, it changes the pocket wifi 's password and one cannot tell how many devices are connected to the wifi at any given time.Read full review...

Great add-on to the Optus AC800S air card
Just placed the Optus air card on the cradle, plugged in my MIMO antenna and computer into the enter net port. Gone from average ADSL 2 speeds to better than the best NBN speeds. Very easy to set up. Wifi was also easy, the Optus air card shows the wifi network name and password. All so easy. Caveat on this, you need to get a good MIMO antennae to increase your speed and locate it correctly. Network connection was great.Read full review...

Cradle don't meet expection
The unit came with a European power which would not plug into my American 120 AC plug. I buy a power adapter and when ATT modem is place in cradle the ATT tower signal is reduce to zero and will not receive a sign. I am in a weak signal area but it should not lose all signal strength when in the smart Cradle.Read full review...

Good service and product
I purchased the DC112A to boost my Optus AC800S. We have poor mobile reception inside our house and the walls restrict the wifi range of the AC800S by itself. I plugged in the DC112a and it worked straight away. The mobile signal strength has been significantly improved and you can now get wifi anywhere in the house.Read full review...

Works great with Optus AC810s
It works great with the Optus AC810s hotspot. I just had to disable IP Passthrough Mode on the hotspot before the router could see it. The Wifi on the router itself is strong, and it also works fine with Google Wifi.Read full review...

Made the AC800s a much more robust system. Cellular signal is stronger and wifi range is better.
