Not long lasting like Mary Kay lip liners

Love the color but have to reapply often. I expected more from all the makeup lovers reviews. If you can get the original Mary Kay neutral or Mauve I would try that first . Stays on a lot longer

Great price, quality item

I can't find this product in the stores any longer and it's my favorite! The price was exactly the same on Ebay, as their others in the store, so is a great deal. This liner is a beautiful lighter brown with a glittery shimmer, and stays in place well. Looks great on medium brown eyes, as it's much less dramatic than a dark brown or black. Great value for the money, quite good product.

I wanted a browncolored, nude lip pencil to increase the size of my upper lips. The NYX one didn't work in my case, but i'm sure it's just perfectly good as a base color before putting lipstick on. The pencils are quite good, but not the best you can get. It's slightly pigmented and the texture is a little too dry, and it gets on very sticky... However, the pencils are quite good, if you want a fair colored undertone to your lips. Goes on dry and makes lips chappy, but a nice color for lighter skintones!

The reason why I bought this pencil was because of a youtuber called MsAaliyahJay. In her Kim Kardashian Inspired make up tutorial she said that this lip pencil, with a clear lipgloss on top, could replace turkish delight the product Kim K always uses.
I dit not find that to be true at all, it made my lips very chappy and dry even when putting a chapstick underneath. It also was a bit hard to apply, you really have to use some pressure wich does not give a nice sensation. The color also looked very pale on me, I would not use this as a replacement for turkish delight whatsoever! But maybe on lighter skintones this would look good and could be used as a 'lipstick'.
I also have 2 other lippencils by NYX wich I like a bit more, so I do not know if I am going to buy this once more. I have another drugstore brand that goes on much softer and also looks very nice so I think I will stick with that one!Read full review...

Amazing product for price and phenomonall choice of colours!

I bought these because they were recommended by a beauty guru on YouTube. They have a wide range of colours which is really good! Except makes it hard to pick which ones I want lol. I do like these pencils and they are amazing for the cheap price. I took off one star though because they are not creamy like the Mac Lip Liners which I prefer. I suffer from dry lips and these pencils really show up the dryness. I always wear a creamy lipstick on top and usually the dryness doesn't show. Awesome Value and wonderful Color

I can not fathom why anyone would buy an expensive lip pencil for 20$ when you can get up to 6 Nyx pencils for the same price. These are stunningly amazing. I have one Mac lip pencil and I hardly ever touch that after I got Nyx. I bought 6 and just bought 6 more (12 total) and I am in love. They are absolutely amazing. Pigmentation is perfect and it's not too dry or too soft. They last a long time and the color range is fantastic. I am more of a Mauve-Nude type of gal, and they have just the colors I want! Every time I visit my local CVS, they are ALWAYS sold out of the colors I am looking for (Mauve, Natural, Ever, etc) so getting them on Ebay is my only option. I have to say I am happy that they are always sold out in stores because they are little bit more expensive.
Always been satisfied with Nyx products, but their lip pencils are definitely my favorite. They don't have a smell either and I know some lip pencils have that "woody" smell (I personally don't mind). They stay on the lips for a long time and extends the longevity of any lipstick you put on over top. If there is a Mac color you're looking for, chances are, there is a dupe for it from Nyx so do your research before you splurge!

Lovely color payoff and good value for the money!

Usually I don't wear bright colors on my lips, but I was really excited to try some red lips for christmas and bought the NYX Slim Lip Pencil in "Hot Red".

The pigmentation is great and the color stays on for a couple of hours. I used a clear lipgloss on top of the lip pencil and it worked out great.

Since it is a bright color it looks a bit weird when it starts to wear off, leaving quite a lot of color on the contours of the lips, but I still find it a lovely product.

It stays longer than a lipstick, but I would not recommend this for very dry lips since the lip pencil is not moisturizing at all.Read full review...

Amazing color

I have tried many lip liner pencils and was happy that this one in particular didn't smudge or bleed outside of the lip area. The color is beautiful too, gives me a natural look.
