My almost last auto-tool purchase
So ,any modern cars use the Torx system, and being an "older" motorist, I hadn't much experience with them. I had a male set of Torx keys, (a bit like the Allen keys you can buy), but no sockets. Finally I had to buy a socket to undo some Torx-headed bolts in the engine compartment of a Mercedes-Benz SLK to replace them with stainless steel ones. This little socket set was absolutely ideal, being not expensive for something that will only be used rarely. No point in spending lots of money on stuff that'll last 50 years when you're 74 ! Good quality for a very reasonable price. I only needed the E18 size socket as I had all the others, which is typical. So, I didn't want to spend too much for the sake of one socket, but buying a single socket was almost as expensive as buying the set!
The sockets arrived in super speedy time even using the standard free delivery, and are well made and robust enough for all but the person who will be using them 20 times a day.
