Best sleuth series ever!
I do not know how we missed this series years ago. I am a huge PBS supporter. Shame on A&E. As a Sherlock Holmes fan, I am floored. The way these characters come alive is captivating! I can not wait to see the next episode, as I am stringing them out, to spend more time thinking about each story.
I fully intend to go back through them again and again over the years

This is my favorite production of Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe. Timothy Hutton is the intrepid Archie incarnate from dapper wardrobe, jaunty attitude & tough swagger. I love the use of a regular cast of players throughout the series that take on different roles giving it a sense of theater. The clothes & set design are a palate of brilliant color.
