Great lense for artwork.

Excellent lens/ an excellent replacement for the "go to"lens in the original kit.. 18-55mm. This one extends the image capture to 18-120mm I don't need to drag out the kit telephoto 300mm so oten.<br>
This particular lens is as sharp and uses the focus features of the Nikon 5100 to fine tune the focus.. Everything seems to be working well.Read full review...

Love this lens

I've owned a LOT of lens for Nikon, and I have to say, this is probably my favorite "all-around" lens. This lens is sharp, but that's only part of the story with lenses -- color reproduction on this lens is particularly pleasing on my D7100. I prefer this to the new standard kit lens (the 18-55 VR), and VASTLY prefer it to even the 18-105 VR. The lens also balances well, and from a sitting position, I have no trouble shooting clear shots hand-held at 1/3 second exposure, even without the VR. Great lens!Read full review...
