Awesome camera, Its very handy to have 36MP just in case you need to do some cropping, the body is solid and video function is awesome!

Awesome camera but a bit of an overkill

The D800 has an exceptional censor and takes great photos. The 36.3MP is a bit of an overkill and you really don't need it unless you are planning on cropping your images majorly. The menu banks can be confusing and slow to handle. If you want a good alternative try the cannon 5D mark III, which is overall a better camera to use for almost everything.Read full review...
