Fun retro gaming
The system that I received was an original GameBoy color. It has decent graphics, but no backlight so must be played and well lit areas. Pokémon yellow is a great game with turn-based fighting and role-playing. Pokémon yellow has special differences from the other Pokémon games that make it extra charming. The one I received it with this order did not function correctly. However, I played it when it first came out circa 1998 and loved it. Better than what I had expected!
Got a kiwi gb color to bring back memories of when i got it when it came out in 98. Oh boy did it ever! Gonna be 33 soon and wanted to get back into the nice feeling of it in my hands and a actual button. I also bought pokemon red and blue! Omg. I just recieved the gb and just got off it after 3hr of play. Love it!

Enjoying the Game Boy!!
My 5 year old son was the recepient of the color game boy. We had some games from the broken one and so needed a replacement. My son likes the game boy. It entertains him for a while. He likes that it is small, portable and can go wherever he goes. The carrying case is ideal. Not only does it hold the game boy, but it stores the light and cartridges. Sometimes Daddy and Mommy get to play as well. It could be hours if entertainment and is fun! It is very easy to operate. The only drawback on the color is that the screen is very dim. The light for the game helps, but it almost has to be used in a well lit area. I also wish that the games/cartridges were still available in local stores.Read full review...

I love playing on my Game boy like I used to years ago!
Even though I'm now 21, have an Xbox 360 and a bunch of games, nothing brings me back like sitting on the couch with my Game Boy playing an old pokemon game! :P
My only complaints for the Game Boy Color is that it doesn't come standard with a rechargeable feature, and there isn't a LED ligthed back screen. But those can be easily fixed for a small price. A worm light will fix the dark screen and you can either play with it plugged in, buy rechargeable batteries, or buy a rechargable pack for the game boy. Gameboy Color w/ Micky Mouse Racing Game
I bought this particular Gameboy for my 3 yrs old grandson. The game system is in excellent working condition. The only thing I would say I dont like about it is you have to have it in direct light to be able to see the screen. It is easy to hold when it is out of the case. The case is very clean and holds everything very nicely, but makes playing difficult while the system is in it.
The Micky Mouse racing game was not what I expected. It is more like a Zelda game, which my grandson has difficult navigating through. However, once he gets to the race track, he enjoys it very much.
Overall, I am pleased with this item as it is doing what I had purchased it for: a distraction for my grandson when he has to sit in the car for long periods of time.Read full review...

GameBoy Color comes in a wide variety of system colors and an even larger variety of games. Plays all the old Gameboy games.
The down falls: It doesn’t have a contrast/brightness control like the original GameBoy, sometimes it’s difficult to see the screen. It’s a really old system now.
