One of the best handhelds

I'm a huge fan of the Gameboy line. What I like about the Gameboy Pocket is not only its size, but how big the screen is. It actually has a slightly larger screen than the original gameboy. I'd say it's biggest shortcoming is its battery life. It takes 2xAAA batteries and it only lasts about 10 hours. For that I highly recommend using rechargeable batteries. Also, much like the original gameboy, the screen is not backlit but it gets much better lighting than the original. If you're up to it, a backlight can be installed on this little handheld.
Also, for those of you who don't know, the Gameboy Pocket can't play Gameboy Color or Gameboy Advance games.

It's a great device, the graphics are as good as they can be from a black and white gaming device from the 80s, and it works great with all compatible game cartridges ( which is any game BEFORE gameboy color cartridges games ).
