Great value for the money and age !
I’ve bought the Nokia 5070 mobile phone because it’s one of the best mobile phones I’ve had in my life. I really don’t like the smartphones, and this one, even if it’s quite old, represents a good alternative. It even has an internet connection (quite slow, of about 1-2 minutes to connect to a page like a facebook) and a videocamera, which quality is acceptable. Furthermore, it’s really easy to handle and doesn’t break while falling on the floor. The battery can last a few days-a week, if used moderatly (sending some messages, calling friends). Nokia5070/6070
The 5070/6070 The 'Mars Bar'design is very much suitable for the older person who needs the larger button for texting, also the larger clear colour plain screen. Not mentioned much in reviews, but an important point is the the TRI-BAND facility. This phone worked well in the USA while on holiday. This is an older phone and now out of production, but available as a 2nd user on ebay. It has a larger battery which means a longer time between charging. SIM card changing is easy, as I use different SIM cards while driving on the continent.Read full review...

The 5070 isn't exactly a wonder of design, but it's certainly not offensive to the eye. It's available in either red or blue and the bright colours make the slightly boxy design much more appealing. I'm an Arborist which consists of swinging around in trees with a chainsaw, getting bashed around by limbs and all sorts of rough aspects! I'm forever breaking phones, the touchscreen ones never seem to work after a couple of days work, the screen breaks or it gets covered in sawdust that it stops working. Flip phones have snapped in half before and others have fallen out the tree and smashed. This phone is relatively hard wearing and has already taken a 60ft drop and survived with nothing but a scratch. I have good feelings about this one! If you're looking for something that will last, not fall apart, break easily or freeze... this is what you're after. A phone is for sending and recieving calls and texts... you don't need to spend £100+ on a phone that has a load of applications!Read full review...

Simple robust phone, nothing special just a nokia. Camera is quite weak but ok. Other than that its a good phone.
