Good all round smart phone, screen size limits internet use.

The E72 has all the features you need, GPS, decent camera, good battery life a proper keyboard, music player with 3.5mm jack and is slim and easy to carry. The GPS is FREE, yippee and I love the keyboard. The Nokia software store has lots of app that are free or cheap. Emailing is excellent.

There are a few faults, firstly the software looks dated and is overly complex in places. Menus items can be difficult to find and it took me a few days to move menu items around before I was comfortable with it. The phone can be a bit slow sometimes when loading an app or switching between them.
Web browsing on such a cramp screen is not fun, it is possible but not fun.

If you don't use the web much on the go this phone is an excellent choice. It is a very cheap now as it is considered last years model. That means you can get them for a bargain.
Be ready for a learning curve.

A good grunt business phone but not much more.

I've been using this phone for almost a month now. I needed a phone quickly after my Android phone died.
I chose the Nokia E72 simply because it was cheap & designed for heavy email use.
The phone itself is light and slim and a good build quality. It has a physical qwerty keyboard and a small screen. If your eyesight is not good then you're going to struggle to read stuff.

However, the trade off is that is has a decent battery life. To go at least 2 days without a charge was a big bonus! Especially when I have email polling for mail and being on the web everyday.

The email client is easy to setup but the mail for exchange option was the only setting that could sync your email calendar with the phone. It was not an easy job but it works.

Web browsing is adequate at best. It doesn't cope well with downloading large websites and crashes often.

Don't expect much from apps neither. It's nowhere near in the same league as Android or Apple apps. However, the Nokia maps and GPS system are pretty decent. I've used it as a sat nav in the car and it works ok. Whatsapp works too but it may not let another app run at the sametime as the memory is poor.

The media apps are ok. They work and you can listen to music and the FM radio without much fuss.

The wifi capability allows you to stream internet radio pretty well.

Watching videos are not brillliant but with a small screen you can't expect much.

As mentioned earlier, memory is a problem. You have to keep closing down apps to run another app. Storage is good if you have micro USB card installed. It fits in a coverable slot on the side for easy access.

If you want a phone that has good email capability then you can't go much wrong with this. The 3G and wifi will give you good connectivtiy but don't expect to do much surfing. Poor memory will frustrate you if you like your apps and are a heavy surfer.
This a good grunt business phone but not much more but it's cheap and good value for money as you should be able to get one for under £70.

Great seller. Excellent contact and support. Product as described.

Great, almost undestructable mobile phone. Battery least for almost full week. Great if you are away on the road. Qwerty keyboard is easy to use even in gloves. This phone is not for a geeks but good if you need it for calls and text mostly. Also great build in Sat Nav with recent maps for free from Nokia.Read full review...

What a great phone!

This phone is amazing value for the prices you can now get it. But first the 'bad stuff'

Only one warning - No mobile phone is great at the web - If you want to browse the web a lot from your phone (it happens) then this is not the best device as its memory is limited and you have to replace the default browser to Opera mini (free download) to get it to stop complaining.

I browse the web occasionally with it (recipes, imdb, google etc..) and it 'suffices' when I am not in range of a laptop or Tablet. Really - The only mobile phones that can give a reasonable experiance with browsing are hi-end large 'Phablets' IMO.

Its OS - Symbian is a bit unintuitive, and it take a few trips to find out how to do things like change the display icons, or setup mail, but its not that bad IMO.

Apart from that - I LOVE this phone. LOVE IT!!! It handles email, radio, great 5MP camera videos/pics, LED flash, youtube, appointments - (and you can sync it with Google Calender via a gmail account), turn it off and it still wakes you up when you have set the alarm (unlike Android phones!!!!!).

And the BATTERY LASTS DAYS!

It's GPS with turn by turn Nokia Maps (free) is still THE best on the market and has helped me out of tight spots many times - and not only on the road either.

Its audio recorder is great to record meetings with. Its external speaker is quite load enough to listen to podcast downloads at night (podcatcher app).

I loved the Office like suite of programs on it - QuickOffice, spreadsheets or word docs - it handles pdfs as well. This has been seriously helpful. I used it to load a CSV file of 7000 names and addresses and yet could search it without problems.

Its a absolute workhorse. If you download Fring! you can even VIDEO chat with relatives.

I have recently been enjoying jogging with it. You can buy a arm holster for it for £2-3. BTW - It's great with headphones when jogging the sound quality is excellent - and the TORCH function comes in useful this time of year - in lofts etc.. as well.

I upgraded its memory SD card to 16 GB class 10 and its made a great difference to download speeds. I use a lanyard with it around my neck. It even has the slot built in - unlike many other mobile phones.

You will not regret getting this phone at these prices! It is still suprising me with how well thought out it is and what it can do - 2 years later (its got a OCR scanner for photos of text for example).
I also love the fact its a WIFI phone, because I don't have to bother with a data plan and so am on PAYG saving huge wonga to boot.

excellent smart phone to use and very acurate in all you do.with it.

This phone is amazing and still in my view should still be in the shops NOT just on internet to purchase.
It is in my view one of the best on the market if you like button use.its far more acurate to use.
The symbion software is easy to follow through -May be just a little long winded in getting through t and get to the persons name.
Battery life is good and lasts 3/4 days.camera use is excellent and sending messages with a photo could not be easier.
The only thing i found was just tuning in to email-best in my view to use mail for exchange but you can go to others ie gmail etc.
also i like the zodium black because its matt buttons hence your fingers dont slip.
Overview-Its a very smart phone to look at neat and tidy.
I will never change unless Nokia bring out a copy or the E72.Brilliant.Hope this help you.
