Very handy around the shop

This is a great little fine grit stone, good for touching up an edge or stoning a small tool or workpiece surface. Use with mineral oil (that's what Norton honing oil is), easily sourced from the drug store and a particularly good price at IKEA (next to the wooden cutting boards). The oil keeps the grit clean and cutting nicely; can't be used (well) with water. Plastic case keeps oil off of whatever is next to it on the bench or in the toolbox or drawer. Will need to be flattened periodically, like any stone. A lapping plate is a must for that; I like the DMT diamond lapping plate for that job.
