This product works as advertised, though the temperature labels don't accurately reflect the temperature of food of being heated (true also of my other NuWave PIC). Temperature adjustment of 5* seems instant and reliable: I like it. This unit has wonderful timing features, and I frequently use and appreciate the Programming feature: I use it especially for pressure-cooking, where it makes it possible to just set and forget the cooker, and for multi-stage cooking. This model draws 1800 watts ONLY; when it is drawing the Max wattage, nothing else can be used on the circuit. A great product for cooking outside & extra burner

I get great use of this Nuwave. With a large induction capable stock pot, it makes for a great deep fryer outside. That keeps the deep fryer oil scents outside the home. I like brands like Cuisinart & Calphalon to use on the Nuwave. I get great fried chicken, onion rings, fried fish , etc. and it is made fresh instead of coming from the supermarket freezer section. I will never go back to traditional stove top burners!

I love all the power choices. It has the familiar low, med, high, etc, but also lets you adjust the temperature manually to nudge it up or down a little. The top doesn't get hot. It's easy to clean. It also uses far less electricity than traditional burners and is more efficient than gas without polluting your indoor air.
