Better than Alexa or Google video boxes!

I have 5 of these now. I have a remote elderly mother and sister. These came out in August 2016.
The screen is large! ~ 9 inches across. Being able to video chat long distance for free is a great thing to keep in touch. Setup is easy. Setup a family account and go online. With Mom locked down for this Covid issue it is the best way to keep her spirits up. Cons.. It is no longer sold retail. Also you can no longer get the matching cell phone app from the google play store. (If you have it ,,it still works.) Mom is now in a nursing home.. Telephone access is spotty, She has trouble working the phone. I can use this intercom and video check in anytime. I notice things in the background and can act on things she would not discuss on the phone. I highly recommend these units.Still better than the big boy toys. Cool concept but now obsolete

Very cool concept, but it has been made obsolete by other products and cell phones with video chat. This was produced by a startup that is either out of business or providing little support. On the positive side, I thought the build quality wasn't bad for a startup product.Read full review

Great for Grandkids

We have two of these in our house we use as video intercom is between our offices. My wife also communicates with your daughter on their's across the country.

Great communication tool for large homes or large distances

My aging mother doesn't have a land line, just a cell that is linked with Bluetooth to a bunch our cordless phones. Occasionally it is dead due to lack charge or the Bluetooth fails. I can use it to check up on her without having to drive over. It's great.Read full review
