Original Bigdog
I have a 2006 Bigdog Chopper that the previous owner rewired due to factory wiring issues. The first week I had the bike the voltage spiked due to the stator and voltage regulator and blew the computer. I have rewired the entire bike with upgraded components to original and needed to go back to the Bigdog original controls. Seller has been awesome having the parts I need. Much better than the OEM stuff that came on the bike. Pricey, but understandably so. Cost to retool and make parts for older bikes only makes sense.
I understand that tooling up to make new parts for old bikes can be expensive and you have to recoup the cost.
Fortunately the new parts are much better than the originals. A definite upgrade!
I'm just pleased that Big Dog is making parts to supply the products that they've sold in the past.
I fully intend to keep mine until I die!
