Reduced stress and less battery waste
I have only had it for a week and I have already recovered half the cost of the analyzer by being able to recondition batteries slated for recycling! Bought the same charger years ago and although model numbers keep changing, basic functions remain the same. Simple to use yet has all the charging, discharging and testing functions you need with an easy to read lcd display. I bought this to help me determine the condition of a fleet of rechargeable batteries. It does the job very well. Let me identify individual NiMH AA batteries that were less than 25% capacity compared to identical cells bought at the same time. No visible differences. It also informed me that the crappy ___Fire 18650 cells, rated at a remarkable 5,000 mAh, that I bought for my underwater flashlights actually are good for less than 10% of their label rating.

The charging and testing algorithms are the best I've found on any unit under $1500. Prompt shipping. It's a bit more pricey than others in its range, but well worth it.I've charged and tested over 600 15650 - 26650s Li-Ion and Ni-Cad cells and it has worked flawlessly.
Some options would be nice with the next version of the firmware, such as the ability to set the low-voltage cut-off to something other than the 3.10v cutoff for Li-Ion. At higher discharge rates the cell often has 10-20% SOC left after testing cutoff, and quickly normalizes back to 3.7v or so.

Great Charger So Far. If It Lasts A Long Time, I'd Buy Again
Did my research online and this seemed to be a great charger for the price. I would have to agree. It's pretty awesome. Great features and manual is clear. I'm just using it to charge AA and AAA batteries for the house: Mouse, remote, other simple devices, no harvesting or anything like that.
I like the 4 channels and that you can send a steady current to each channel.
My ONLY real 'concern' is the fan and how much it actually cools & the quality/longevity of the fan. But time will tell. Overall seems to be built well.

GREAT charger/battery tester. Worth the money...
Used this charger to replace a LaCrosse C-900 charger that wasn't up to the job.
I had a pile of older AA batteries & went thru & tested them all for capacity and ESR readings.
Then I disposed of all the batteries that didn't measure up. This charger ROCKS....
