Works good

So far so good even though the engine light has come back twice. My guess is that it's a 7 yrs old cat and I think the fuel quality has something to do with the engine light coming on and off. I will re-order more for a deeper cleaning!Read full review...

It seams the product is working

Hi, I'm giving 4 stars only because its hard to tell if it did anything to the catalytic converter/lambda sensors, but when I checked the spark plugs they were white as new which is also dificult to decide. Expect anomalyties with the ignition since the product changes the octane of the fuel.Read full review...

Great Product

This product is amazing. It worked. I used it with a little less than a half a tank of gas and ran it down to a little under a 1/4 tank and filled it up. My 420 code has not returned.

Oxicat Worked !!

I received Oxicat in the mail and decided to do a before and after test. My car is a 1999 Honda Accord 2.3L . First I did a hand feel test of the exhaust flow out the pipe and I noticed that it did feel kind of weak. Second I used an Infrared
thermometer and took a test of the temperature of the inlet pipe and outlet pipe of the Catalytic Converter. The pre-test showed a measurement of 343 Degrees on the inlet pipe and 400 Degrees on the outlet pipe. I started off with 1/3 tank of gas and poured in 1/2 the bottle of Oxicat and drove about 110 miles. I use my car at work as a Courior so this worked out great for me. The next day I filled to 1/2 of a tank and poured in the other half. At the end of my route or another 110 miles I ran another temperature check like before and I could not believe it. The inlet pipe measured roughly the same but the outlet pipe measured between 440-460 degrees. Also I should mention that before I ran my tests I was getting a check engine light code p0420. I also cleared the code prior to running my tests and ever since I did that the check engine light has never come back on. I did a hand flow test again and could tell that the exhaust was flowing a lot better. The fact that the outlet temps have increased along with better flow shows that this Oxicat made a big difference for me. : )

I Believe Oxicat has worked because my Cat was not 100 % blocked if yours is at that stage, then this might not work for you. If you get a p0420 code and yet can still feel some flow out the exhaust then by all means give Oxicat a chance. My advice would be to follow the same procedure I did by using 1/2 can per 1/3 tank and try not to dilute it so much. Another is you need to drive it a-lot like I did for this to work.

Amazing product that truly does the job of sluggish exhaust

This is an amazing product. I used it on a 17 year old Mazda Miata LS with the original catalytic converter.
Here's what prompted me to consider the product. In the summer months in Florida, it gets very hot and very humid so a naturally aspirated engine will struggle to "breathe" especially with the load of air conditioning compressor and sitting in traffic. So I would get the same symptoms each summer, engine would bog down, rpms would vary wildly and while the Miata never quit on me, she would balk and run poorly. Then there was the awful smell of exhaust that told me that the end gas detonation (pinging) was indicative of fuel not being burned properly in the cylinders OR it was not being recirculated through the EGR and cat. No codes, no one could figure out what the issue was. I knew the cat was the issue but still no codes. I saw this product and thought, it is worth a try rather than buying a new cat (no rattling or broken baffles in the catalytic converter so that had already been checked out). I put 1/3 in a half tank and drove it like I stole it. Next day, down to quarter tank, put another 1/3 product in and again ran it hard. I couldn't believe the difference. It was like I was driving a new engine! Smooth, light and nimble she accelerated so deftly and purred down the road. No exhaust smell and guess what, I could actually hear the exhaust note in the car (a must have for a sports car driver...it's part of the fun of owning one). Finally a few days later, when I saw the slight variation in rpms at idle, I added the last bit and ran her hard. This is a great product that saved me from buying a new catalytic converter and gave me Miata the energy she deserves. Driving is a pleasure again instead of a constant niggle. I will be ordering another can soon just to have on hand! Thank you Autoprofi and Oxicat. Love the name.
Growl....purr!!!

If you want to clean your O2 Sensors and Catalytic Converter with the least effort, this could be your Honeysuckle!

I specifically bought as a solution to my having done many lunch break hours idling my 2006 Tundra which is an enemy to sensors and Catalytic Converters, so when codes threw me into limp mode and could not determine reason for spiking Rich codes and intermittent rough running, I figured it a good risk to try.
I bought a very nice OBD2 tool, got the codes again after another ECU reset, found the Intermittent Short in #4 Ignition Coil to be the cause, but am still running the first can thru while not taking the recommended 100 Mile Trip to really cycle it thru according to Best Use directions.
However the 4.7L is now running smooth as a baby's bottom so won't be doing that O2 Sensor Change for another good spell!
Seems as if doing a few cans over a few long highway trips would help any higher mileage vehicle clean out an undamaged system.

Works great

Bought a can for a brother with a dogish Buick, he’s amazed at how much more responsive and better it runs ! Three cans and probably buying more !

Put a second can into a full tank of gas (14 gallons) and it’s working even better, good throttle response, noticeably lesser gas pedal position while cruising, better passing power and on hills, tail pipe was black - now a mild rusty color - assuming it’s clearing out the complete exhaust system, the car just runs better !
Amazing how much fetter a 15 year car runs !

Great product for catalytic converter and O2-sensor cleaning.

This product works as it states on the label. My car had a slight sulfur odor under hard acceleration and hill climbing, and after a tankful of this product the smell hasn't returned. One thing though, try not to get it on your hands for it does have a strong mechanical/ chemical odor that takes a lot of scrubbing to get rid of.Read full review...
