A must have

I've been a David Toop fan for a while now. Back when this book and companion 2Cd set, first came out (95) it was The Bible to me. Not only did it elaborate on some of my favorite artists, it turned me on to a world of new artists and theories. It was to experimental music, what Greil Marcus' "lipstick traces" was to punk and DADA. Thorough and concise, it is a must have for anyone interested in different approaches to music and in new ways of listening to music. (track down the 2Cd if you can, it really goes great with the book)Read full review...
