OM 100mm f2.8 Is A Must Have Optic

This lense is compact, light and easily carried around in a pocket. The optics are sharp as can be and filters are easily acquired (49mm) for any desired photo effects. I strongly recommend the genuine Olympus polarisers based on my results. They do not adversely effect the image like so many aftermarket brands can.

100mm is the perfect focal length for portrait photography if you're using a 35mm camera or equivalent sized digital sensor. It compresses the image just enough to eliminate the distortion of things that are closer to the camera but doesn't lose the 3D look that 135mm focal length does.

On my Olympus digital bodies this lense great, even though it's not a zoom lense. In the old film days you would pay a lot of money for this kind of reach and speed in a lense.Read full review...
