Love it so much I own six of these units
First discovered the Omron NE-U22 nebulizer some 12 years ago when I was first put on a nebulizer by my doctor. Since I travel a lot I could not be tied to a clunky unit that had to be plugged into an electrical outlet so started looking online for a portable model. Was delighted with the NE-U22 -- immediately bought one. Even my doctors were not aware they existed at that time! I have bought 5 more for myself since them -- have one in each major room of the house and one in the car so I am never far from one. Have bought others for family members who are afflicted with asthma or emphysema and have recommended them to many others, including strangers who have seen me using mine on a commuter train and asked about it. I no longer us "puffer" type inhalers at all since I get much more efficacy with the nebulizer and because of its size and portability the NE-U22 is as convenient to use.Read full review...

It was somewhat tedious to put together even with the instructions and the batteries that were included were dead, but no telling how old they were so that is understandable. However, after only a few uses it would start ad then stop, so after cleaning twice I decided to check the batteries. Evidently, this little jewel can only be inhaled but not exhaled into it as a regular nebulizer because in less than a week, the batteries were corroded. I would give five stars except for the problems I have had. I will use it myself because I can control the usage., otherwise it is a great little machine.

Awesome for travel
My wife and I both require nebulizer treaments. When we were ready to travel, we dreaded the hassle of carrying the small compressor and finding the proper adapters for international power.

Only one small complaint
I love this product. It has really made my life easier. It is easy to use and I love that it is completely silent! The one complaint that I have is that the batteries do not last very long at all. I have had to change the batteries after every six or so uses. At first I thought it was because the batteries that came with it might have been old. Then the second set I got from someone that I was visiting and I thought maybe their batteries were old. The ext two sets I have put in have been from my own supply...brand new...and they seem to run out way too fast. Any helpful suggestions? Right now the orange light has come on after only five uses and I am just waiting to see if it will hold out a little longer. I have used it once since the light came on.
