The Oregon blade balancer works perfectly. It is well made and easy to use. Suggestion is that it should come with a cover to protect it from grinder dust and debris while not in use. Chinese junk

This is a knockoff of a US made blade balancer. Mine has a "drag" that you can feel in the bearing right out of the box. I tried to save money and buy cheap. I got what I paid for I guess.

UNRELIABLE!

As with other reviews, mine has a definite DRAG on the bearing. I tested a set of
blades with this unit. retested again after supposed balance...not balanced.
I do not trust the balancer because it is unreliable and casts different results
probably related to production control standards at manufacturing facility in
CHINA...not in ITALY as literature online misleads buyers.
