Not a pristine product by any means but hey, its like 30 years old, so that's to be expected. Is much smaller and compact then the original three button controller which can seem bulky at times. It's also noticeably lighter. Buttons seem fast and responsive, it's a nice controller. Nothing beats the original

I think this controller with a Model 2 Genesis is the only way to go. Though it wasn't utilized by a huge amount of games, it makes the ones that did - including excellent titles like The Lost Vikings - infinitely more enjoyable. Even without those games, I find it overall more comfortable than the original Genesis controller - particularly the D-pad, which feels much more fluid and isn't a hard plastic like the original.
