A spanner in the works of mainstream archeology

Needed this book for my collection and research. Not read it yet but high on my reading list
Although hated by mainstream Egyptologists Bauval has posited a brilliant theory based upon astronomical alignments that radically alter modern interpretations and conclusions as to the role of the Sphinx and the Giza pyramids and the age of these magnificent buildings . The discovery of Gobleki Tepe has made his theory even more plausible. The dating of Tepe in 1995 pushed advanced civilization back to 9000 BCE, the end of the last ice age, which aligns beautifully with Bauval's theories and also brings into question the age of the other ancient building that defy belief as to how and when they were built.Read full review...

Great!

It is hard to decribe what one can feel while reading it, also it has turning our world up side down, especially if you open for new information.
