Awesome Friendly Suprising

Shazammm!!! I'm a photographer and the image quality on this is as good as the larger Canon XL1 and the newer Canon mv40. In other words I'm happy. If you can get one reasonably priced it's ok, but I still won't pay over 150 for it because of the age. I think if you spend $ 200.00 you need something on sale with a warranty and changable lens. This is good for performance but if it brakes nobody makes them anymore. I also play bass guitar so I love the way it picks up sound. Awesome but don't spend a lot when you can get new stuff. Some try to sell for 300 to 400 bucks, which is ok if you had no choices..but you do.Read full review...

Great camera

This camera makes transfering large video files and pictures a snap. With the addition of a 32gb SDHC card, which is the largest this model can handle, it's a great fit. Transfer rate at 15mb's a second and your on your way. One thing that I really liked about the camera quick start feature was that as soon as you press the camera picture function it takes the first photo of where you were. This is really handy if you are driving or moving very quickly. Some cameras like to sync first and then shoot. This camera did this quick picture feature very well. But that second photo takes a second to process. This camera also takes almost 10 mb's per picture. This would not be an issue unless your trying to send the pic's through an email. The camera has a lot of features to select from on the menu screen. The camera is just cool. Only had it about a couple of weeks, but it has traveled with me Atlanta, Ga. to Key West, FL. and does great. No complaints. Battery time is cool. I ran it for almost a day on and off using the quick start features and power save options.Read full review...

This camera is great because of the manual controls. Very easy to use. one thin thats annoying is many programs dont edit the hd footage. sony vegas is the one i found that works the best

My reivew HDC-HS100

What I like the product at this price range it is the only HD camcorder with EVF. This is vital in taking fast action sport activity at full zoom. The only complain I have is the bundled software is so basic for tranfering and editing. This however could be complemented with 3rd part software.Read full review...
