EXCELLENT IF U R CAREFUL

the Panscn08 usually gets a few zings. this is not a high end scanner, but if you have a steady, light hand you can get pretty good quality.

do not press down too hard on the photos. use a very light touch. scan slowly and cover the background with something very plain like four sheet of white typing paper. the scanner is so powerful that it will pick up wood grain behind a photo -- THROUGH the photo.

you do not want that, so a stack of white typing paper will do the trick. i use the HP photo program to edit and crop my jpegs and clear off the SD card. the adapter and micro SD are about $1.50 or so with free shipping on EBay. i use a 16 gigabyte card gifted to me by my nice IT professional. you can use any size.

the battery needs to be recharged every half hour or so, but it does not take long to recharge. great scanner for the price. i have about 200 photos from my diary to scan and this is fine by me for now. i use Windows 10 so getting a photo scanner and neg. scanner is difficult in the lower price ranges.

An awesome portable product to scan your documents!

I bought this product to scan different documents making it easier to print on my computer. It comes with a micro sd card and a usb port to download you pictures on your computer. Also comes with a rechargeable battery and charger.I haven't used it much lately but will in the near future.It also has a LCD screen to see how many pictures you can store on the device. I was a little skeptical when I found this product for such a good price; but I am very pleased with it. I have used it with pictures and documents both and got good results. It's very easy to use.
