Functional, but inconvenient.

I have several issues with this phone. I find that this unit is getting spotty reception. Same spot, it might have 3 bars, and it might have none. It's not as smooth as a smart phone, many taps/ touches to get to new messages, or to unlock/ and get to the right home screen. Group texts are still not handled well, and multimedia text chains must have each message opened individually... very inconvenient. Forwarding texts may not be possible, or at least is too difficult to figure out. Bigger screen isn't all that helpful for viewing texted photos as they don't fill the screen until you save them onto the phone in another location. I will try one more big-screen non-smart phone before taking the plunge to get the smartphone. I don't know which it will be yet.Read full review...

I love it. Great value for money as phones are expensive these days.

I purchased a used one here on eBay. I really like it, except I couldn't set up my voicemail on the used one so I bought a brand new one. It's a great texting and calling phone and the ring tones are pretty loud so that you can hear them if you are hard of hearing. The batter life is about average if you text and call a lot. Will last about 8-10 hrs. (Lasts longer than my iPhone 4) You don't need a data plan for the phone which is good for those of us who don't really need one, but I have unlimited data on mine and still spend 45.00 less per month than I did with a smartphone. It's just a step down from a smartphone. Camera is pretty decent on the phone too. Touch screen feature is great. Have had no problems with it. The only drawbacks I see is that you cannot set multiple text tones for contacts, but you can ring tones and the tones cannot be longer than 20 or 30 seconds, but that's not really a problem for me as I answer a text before it ever plays the full song anyway. You can still find a lot of stylish cases here on eBay for it too which is good. It's a pretty sturdy phone for a partial touchscreen as well. The qwerty keyboard is also sturdy and not flimsy which is a definite plus. You can text from the touch screen as well. It has predictive text which you can turn off. (I do, because I don't like it on any phone) All in all, it's a pretty decent phone and great for kids or adults alike and it fits smaller hands just fine. Also if you have larger hands it's good too, because the keys are spaced just right so you don't hit a bunch of other buttons.Read full review...

Overall a great phone for my needs!

This phone is perfect for my needs. I basically wanted a phone to text and call, this performs these functions perfectly. The quality of the phone is pretty good and the screen is very bright. I can not say that at this point I have any negatives about it.

It's not a smartphone but has the capability of getting on facebook and some other sites, I have not used this feature though. The battery lasts a long time and I have actually gone about two days without charging it.Read full review...

It's a good phone to have and keep.

Among so many advertised features, this phone is perfect for me for the facts that the size and weight are just optimum to carry around. My daily life depends mostly on sending and receiving text messages to get most of the things done. The ease of use is there. The slide-out style keypad is great and well designed. I have bought a used one and I have found it to be fully functional, the battery is still able to hold the charge for a good length of time. The physical appearance is still trendy in my opinion.
