Good value, quality feel multi-purpose tool.

Light to handle but feels solid and robust. Easy to control in use. Plenty of power. Has a speed control I wasn't expecting. Easy to change blades.

First use was as a saw to cut inaccessible trunk/stems of particularly difficult creeper growing up inside corner of a stone wall. Easy to avoid cutting the stone, which had defeated other saws.

Minor downsides: 1) Mains lead about 1m too short for a device which is likely to be used outside the shop. 2) The carry/storage box is so small and tight that I found it impossible to get everything back in once opened, let alone store extra blades, so lid cannot be closed and box cannot be stacked or shelved. Can be found at a good price.

Comes in a handy case but not everything has a place inside it. Not much room for extra blades. It did the jobs I bought it for but I'm only a DIYer so not had much experience with multi tools. The blades are easy to change though and it is easy to hold and has quite a long flex. The maker also supplies the German budget supermarkets with various other tools which I have a selection of and they are wearing well with light but regular use, the only negative on this multi tool is that it's very noisy.Read full review...

Parkside PMFW310D2 multi tool.

Not had all that long so use since purchase is limited. So far so good used for taking cement from back of old tiles to re use again. Purchased different blade for this as supplied blades were not for this purpose. Quick change mechanism for blades and decent variable speed control. After market blades easy to acquire as very common pattern.
Tool seems very robust, good long length of cable, fairly robust storage box.

Very useful and versatile well made reliable budget DIY tool.

I have found this extremely useful. For a budget DIY tool it seems well made and has worked well every time it has been used so far. I have a number of Parkside power tools and all have been reliable, even the ones bought second hand. How it would stand up to extensive professional use I do not know but it is not made for that. From my experience an extremely useful reliable DIY tool I would not want to be without.
