This is cheap but works great so far in an Musical Fidelity X-Ray V3 cd player. This has the same transport/laser mech as many other marantz, philips etc cd players. The attached wires make it very easy to replace the laser because no soldering is required. A good product!Read full review...

Very good for the price.

The wired connector needed some slight adjustment to fit my CD player but the performance was confirmed by faultless playback of a problem CD I use that causes some players to skip.
