OK but overpriced
It's a great concept and a fun guitar to take out to the porch or the beach. I think the built in amp/speaker is good enough but the rest of the guitar isn't the best quality. Mine had sharp unpolished frets that had rust on them. The pickup, tuners and pretty much all the hardware is about what you get with a $100 guitar so I feel it's a bit overpriced at >$300 shipped. Some places are charging >$400 now. At that price I think it should have better components and they would have a winner that's worth the price tag. Switching them out is going to cost more money and many hours of work. I've already changed the nut with a tusq, and the pickup with an artec. The artec pickup was $25 and far better than the stock one. It should have came with something similar for the price. There really isn't another product like this on the market so I guess it's worth upgrading. Read full review...
