Works great for motorcycling!
Ok, keeping in mind that the primary purpose of these Plugphones is to be effective, safe earplugs, they can sound pretty good. They are definitely not audiophile in music reproduction, but at their price, how could they be?
I wear them under my helmet when motorcycling, where the wind noise can reach 90 dB. They fit my small, crooked ear canals and stay in comfortably. And, at normal sound levels they do not distort.
They are short on bass- but again these are inexpensive and serving dual purpose. To improve the sound, when listening to Spotify or iTunes, just go into the equalizer settings and turn up the bass, turn down the treble and you will have a relatively flat sounding response.
I have them hooked up through Bluetooth to my phone. This allows me the hear the map-navigation, as well as some background tunes.
I don’t know yet how robust they are, but will replace them if lost, because I have found nothing else as effective at this price.Read full review...

Misleading Photos
I did not receive the the same headpones in the picture (a pair which I already own) I was getting these for some friends at work and the ones I got where the same brand but they where red with yellow tips and blue cords they don't look anything like standard earplugs which is the main appeal of them so they blend in at work and they have a volume cap built into them so its really hard to hear your music... Pretty good for the price
I bought these to replace the pair I bought previously. The original pair I bought got a short in the wiring and I got tired of trying to bend them just right to get a connection so they would work. The sound quality is pretty good for the price range but I love the fact that that look and reduce noise just like regular ear plugs. I work in a refinery and the look on the safety man's face was priceless when he thought I had earbuds in and then I showed them to him and he just handed them back and walked away. could i give 10 stars?
with the silicone OR foam ( i use the foam), these are not only the best earplugs i have ever used! I use them, even WITHOUT sound. not only are they very good (comparable to earmuffs), but VERY comfortable, and easy to remove ( I have had problems with strings breaking on 3M plugs, and had to get a pliers to get the plug out)
as for the earbud side, the sound response is incredible, and little amplification is needed.
these are OSHA compliant, and any HR or safety goober who thinks these are not fit should spend $25 and try them. they might need to reconsider music in the workplace to allow these.
I have worked for over 30 years in all types of factory environments, rigging earbuds. these gratefully put me out of business!

Super stealth super flimsy

They do what they need to do
Got em because I may or may not be supposed to wear earphones at work. They work as ear plugs if not plugged in, so I guess technically more than just earphones. They sound well enough, for the price I can't really complain. They feel a bit on the cheaper side, but I don't feel like they're just going to fall apart. I had high expectations about the quality of the sound, perhaps because they gave a lot of emphasis to the isolation of the noise that would allow to enjoy the sound more. But the isolation is not as much as expected, in addition to having a limitation on the volume so they sound very soft, the basses are nothing special.
