Keep in mind Pokemon is a kid's game, and that every game is meant to introduce a new generation of players to the series, and these games are great. As a long time Pokemon lover, it's a favorite among a series of favorites for me. On Nintendo's part, the game handholds more than any other in the series and interrupts play and story both often, railroading your character more often than not.
